US journalists visit AIOU

Islamabad :A six-part designation of American writers and academicians visited the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) here on Thursday under the US-Pakistan Professional association program.

The activity was planned for advancing common collaboration and sharing skill and experience, especially in the field of Mass Communication.

The assignment was driven by a main American columnist Dr. Joe Foote, who is at present filling in as Dean Emeritus of the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

The individual from the assignment included Durrie Bouscaren, David Fritze, Taylor Newcomb and Dick Pryor, who were speaking to print and electronic media in the United States, other than the Oklahoma University, USA.

During the visit, the assignment had itemized conversation with the senior authorities and academicians of the AIOU, including Dean, Faculty of Education Dr. Nasir Mahmood, Registrar Dr. Muhammad Zaigham Qadeer, Director Regional Services Inamullah Shiekh, Dean Social Sciences Dr. Samina Awan and Chairman Department of Mass Communication Dr. Saqib Riaz.

The AIOU would invite its shared between trades with Oklahoma University, especially in the field of media contemplates, he included. Dr. Joe said he was profoundly dazzled by the commitment of the AIOU in the field of training.
