Media strategy define: (3 Marks)

Media strategy, as used in the advertising or content delivery (online broadcasting) industries, is concerned with how messages will be delivered to consumers or niche markets. It involves: identifying the characteristics of the target audience or market, who should receive messages and defining the characteristics of the media that will be used for the delivery of the messages, with the intent being to influence the behaviour of the target audience or market pertinent to the initial brief. Examples of such strategies today have revolved around an Integrated Marketing Communications approach whereby multiple channels of media are used i.e. advertising, public relations, events, direct response media, etc.

Analyse the situation:

As you know this is the tough time for all. The COVID-19 pandemic had a profound impact on the global sportswear market in 2020, with most companies posting weaker sales. Specific sports were impacted with varying degrees, depending on how accessible they were in a locked-down environment. The coming 12 months will likely be characterized by a more positive outlook, albeit amid uncertainty caused by an unfolding second wave of COVID-19 and the relatively slow ramp-up of vaccinations.

 

Set your objectives:

As you know our company is most popular company in the society. Under this covid 19 situation we are following the all Sops in our all factories and shops. We have sanitized our shopkeepers and customers too. And also sanitize the materials that we are selling. Maintain social distancing. Use gloves, wearing masks. We must follow all the SOPs under this critical situation. Under this situation we are also giving discounts to our customers.

 

Plan for advertisements:

We are promoting our company in different social media like in our Facebook page, YouTube channel, Instagram, tiktok page, LinkedIn, in our Gmail accounts etc. We also made different pamphlets for our company.

 

Select appropriate medium:

We have used different medium for communication with our customers like social media, television ads and newspaper also.

 

Select target audience:

We have used different media communications for our customers like different groups in Facebook. Our many guiders guides our customers. In our company mostly follow the SOPs. We have made account in LinkedIn.  And who has no use of social media for those people we have made different pamphlets and television ads.

 

Determine the result: 2 marks

The coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic has resulted in changes to advertising, marketing, promotional and media spends, forcing businesses and brands to revaluate their thinking about current and future advertising and marketing campaigns. While brands currently seek to strike the right tone during a global health emergency, the future portends market alteration, increased competition and a demand for creative and aggressive marketing practices.
