Adult and child: AIOU plans to set up literacy centres

Grown-up and Child Literacy Centers will be set up at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) to advance training at essential and center level.

The college’s Executive Council officially endorsed the foundation of these two places which was declared on Monday by the AIOU Vice Chancellor Dr Shahid Siddiqui while initiating the second-period of the grown-up proficiency program being taken an interest by 30 workers of the varsity.

The varsity’s arrangement to set up two focuses of advanced education was reported on new year’s eve. First-period of the three-month grown-up education program was led last August and November. It empowered the uneducated representatives to gain proficiency with certain nuts and bolts of perusing and composing, both in Urdu and English.

Dr Siddiqui stated, through the Adult and Child Literacy Centers , the University will have the option to grow proficiency arrange in the nation. These will fill in as a model to train the individuals who couldn’t profit the tutoring office at their initial age.Initially, the office of grown-up education is accessible for the college’s workers at the principle grounds. Afterward, it would be made accessible at the college’s 44 provincial workplaces. The grown-up education program is planned for improving their day by day lives and make them progressively profitable.
